Design Partner Programme
Shape Caelith’s AIFMD II Annex IV filing automation before general availability — a partnership, not a vendor sale.
§ 01What it is
We onboard a small cohort of design partners to build Caelith’s AIFMD II Annex IV filing automation with them, against their real reporting cycles, ahead of general availability. This is a working partnership — you help shape what we build, and you get the engine, our attention, and preferential terms in return. It is not a conventional vendor sale.
The cohort is deliberately small so each partner gets direct, hands-on engagement from the people building the product rather than a ticket queue.
§ 02Who it’s for
The programme is scoped to a specific kind of manager. We say this plainly so you can self-select fast:
- Closed-ended AIFMs are in: private equity, real estate, and other closed-ended strategies.
- Non-loan-originating funds are in. Loan-originating funds are conditional — talk to us early so we can tell you whether your structure fits the current build.
- Open-ended funds are out of this cohort for now.
- Primary geographies: Germany (DE) and Luxembourg (LU). These are where Caelith files today.
§ 03What partners get
- Early access to the 19-tool filing agent — the full Annex IV workflow, from ingestion and field mapping through validation to a submission-ready pack.
- A direct line to the founder and CTO. Your questions and edge cases reach the people building the product, not a support tier.
- Influence on the roadmap. Your real filing context shapes what we prioritise and how the workflow behaves.
- Preferential terms at general availability for partners who stay through the engagement.
- Hands-on onboarding — we map your data and your existing handoffs with you, rather than handing you a manual.
§ 04What we ask
- Real Annex IV filing context. We build against your actual reporting cycle — real funds, real fields, real handoffs — not a contrived demo.
- A structured feedback cadence. A recurring, lightweight working session so we hear what’s working and what isn’t while we can still act on it.
- A willingness to be a reference (soft). If the engagement goes well, we’d value a reference conversation or a case study — entirely at your discretion, and on terms you’re comfortable with.
§ 05The arc
A typical engagement runs roughly three months, in three phases:
- weeks 1–2Onboarding & data mapping. We connect Caelith to your existing spreadsheets, administrator exports and fund documents, and map them to the Annex IV fields.
- weeks 3–8Live filing dry-runs. We run your real cycles end-to-end in dry-run mode — validated XML, every exception cited to the rule that flagged it — and tune the workflow with you.
- weeks 9–12Production filing & review. We move to live filing for a real reporting period, then review the engagement together and agree what comes next.
§ 06Trust & regulators
- Caelith files to BaFin (Germany) and CSSF (Luxembourg) live today. FMA (Austria), AMF (France) and AFM (Netherlands) are on the roadmap.
- Built and hosted in the EU-West region; your data does not leave the EU.
- Multi-tenant isolation is enforced at the database tier — every query is bound to its tenant under PostgreSQL Row-Level Security, not relied on at the application tier alone.
- A tamper-detectable SHA-256 audit chain records every sealed decision: a single edit breaks every downstream hash and is detected on the next verification pass.

§ 07FAQ
What does it cost?
The design-partner engagement is about co-building, not a standard purchase. We agree commercial terms case by case, and partners who stay through the engagement get preferential terms at general availability. Start with an intro call and we’ll walk you through it.
How much of a commitment is it?
Plan for roughly three months and a recurring, lightweight feedback session. The heaviest lift is at the start (onboarding and data mapping); after that it’s your normal reporting cycle, run through Caelith.
How is our data secured?
EU-West hosting, multi-tenant isolation enforced at the database tier, and a tamper-detectable SHA-256 audit chain over sealed decisions. The agent does not train on your data. Full detail is on the /security page.
What if we already have a filing tool?
That’s useful context, not a blocker. A dry-run engagement runs alongside your existing process, so you can compare cycle time and output without switching anything until you choose to.
Who owns the output?
You do. The filings, the XML packs and the underlying fund data are yours. The Annex IV serializer at the core of the output is published as an open-source, Apache-2.0 package, so there is no lock-in on the regulatory interpretation itself.
§ 08Apply
If you’re a closed-ended PE, real estate or non-loan-originating AIFM in Germany or Luxembourg, we’d like to talk. The first step is a short intro call to see whether the programme fits.
